Lansdown has been enjoying a bit of a holiday since Bramham and the South of England Agricultural Shows. Aside from an appearance at the Welsh Game Fair to promote our new range of Ladies Equestrian Clothing and Lansdown Shooting Sweaters, weekends have been spent watching or participating in a range of country events rather than working at them! 

First off was the first ever Nunney International Horse Trials, replacing Longleat International Horse Trials. Over 700 competitors took part and the event was really well organised with local rider Kate Allen winning the CIC2* with her 11 year old gelding Final Encore. I enjoyed walking the course which was designed by London Olympics course builder Adrian Ditcham, and somehow found time to check out the tradestands as well... Next was a much smaller event but no less enjoyable. Mells Clay Shoot was held at Mells Park in order to fund a local community shop. I took advantage of the BASC tuition on offer with the clay pigeon shooting and had a go with an air rifle and pistol as well! (NB whilst modelling the Lansdown Zip neck jumper for those interested in such things).

Next month sees a return to Lansdown attending a variety of events. Firstly, we will be attending the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park on 13-15th July. We will be located in the Rural Crafts Pavillion and will have a good selection of rugs and ladies clothing for sale.

Our next event is the CLA GameFair, this year being held at Belvoir Castle 20-22nd July. Our stand is on row C, number C0231 near the Rural Crafts tent. This year we will have a smaller stand showcasing our Shooting Jumpers and our Gundog Coats only, although as always we are very happy to discuss your requirements for our stock or bespoke horse rugs and to take orders if desired. 

We go straight from the CLA to the Royal Welsh Show 23-26th July with a stand in The Horse Village (at the corner of Avenue J).
